BlueMonk Leadership was founded from the perspective of navigating my own career changes. The color blue evokes calm and inspiration, and Monk is a nod to Thelonius Monk, one of my all-time jazz heroes. Like Monk, we create an expansive space for women to unleash their creativity, take risks, and be the best leaders they can be.
With over 20 years of partnering successfully with corporate executives and global teams at Fortune 500 tech companies and startups, we’re passionate about helping female leaders channel their unique strengths so they can lead with clarity, courage, and confidence. We are especially committed to supporting women of color.
We are also committed to higher education and continue to support and mentor women at all stages of their careers by volunteering at UC Berkeley, The University of Chicago, and Society of Women Engineers.
My husband and I are both musicians, based in California, and we both enjoy a good road trip and a glass of Malbec (not at the same time).
